The choir were thrilled to be invited back to perform once again at the stunning Tŷ Rhos Chapel in Rhoshill, Pembrokeshire alongside Eleri and Aled Edwards from Llandovery at a concert organised by the chapel community in early July to raise funds for the local Parkinsons charity.
The listed chapel sits on the edge of the hamlet of Rhoshill on the brow of a hill, with stunning views across the surrounding farmland. It was well worth the bus ride from Cardiff, not only for the glorious evening sunset which welcomed the choir, but for the sumptuous chapel tea which was so generously provided by the chapel community for the choristers following the concert.
The choir performed a varied programme for the audience who filled the pretty chapel both upstairs and down, and it was an honour to perform alongside the accomplished and renowned soloists Eleri and Aled.
The choir were delighted to be informed by the Chapel Fundraising Committee that the concert had raised £1623 for the local Parkinsons UK Charity support group. Well done to all involved! We hope we will return to Rhoshill to perform again soon.
